Welcome to Carlisle School District!
My name is BJ Greene, and I’m proud to serve as the superintendent of Carlisle School District. This is my 21st year in education, and over the course of those years, I’ve spent 12 here at Carlisle in various roles including coach, teacher, principal, and athletic director. Now, I’m honored to lead our district as superintendent.
My wife Amanda and I are thrilled to call Carlisle home, where we’ve built our house and are raising our four children—Maggie, a 2024 Carlisle graduate, Cole (10), Banks (8), and Bridge (4). We’re proud to be part of this close-knit community, rich in tradition and values.
At Carlisle, we are committed to providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in life beyond high school, whether they choose to attend university, vo-tech, junior college, or enter the workforce. Our academic programs and extracurricular activities—including Band, FCCLA, FFA, FCA, FBLA, EAST, Journalism, and a full range of sports like Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Cheer, Dance, Track, and Tennis—offer students many opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.
Our mission is clear: "To ensure our students’ future success through learning, growing, and reaching new heights." Every day, we work to shape each student into the best version of themselves, and my goal as superintendent is to make sure that everyone—staff, students, and myself—are actively telling our story.
In today’s world, it’s easy for misconceptions to spread. That’s why at Carlisle, we’re focused on sharing what’s truly happening in our schools and in our community. We’re always telling our story—whether it's through academics, athletics, or our outstanding extracurricular programs.
